For national and international travel and the London commuter, Maidstone offers two railway stations. Maidstone East is a ten minute walk away, offering a regular service to St. Pancras with peak journey times of just over an hour.
At just half a mile along the riverbank is Maidstone’s town centre, providing a wide choice of shops, including Fremlins Walk shopping centre, restaurants and leisure facilities. And just 20 miles away is Bluewater, one of the most modern and largest shopping centres in England.
Road connections are excellent too. London is easily accessed via the M20 or M2 providing links to the national motorway network. Close by international links include Eurostar services at Ebbsfleet, a distance of 19 miles, Ashford, 22 miles and the Channel Tunnel, 25 miles. Gatwick Airport is 44 miles away and Stansted Airport 60 miles. And of course with Maidstone situated in the heart of Kent The Boatyard is ideally placed to enjoy the heritage of the Garden of England with its many famous villages, leisure and sporting pursuits.
