Baldwyns Mansion

Baldwyns is a scheme, which has rescued Georgian Grade II listed, Baldwyns Mansion Villa, from the English Heritage ‘at risk’ register. Prior to restoration, this historic mansion, once the home of Victorian, Sir Hiram Maxim, inventor of the machine gun and pioneer of flight, was in a serious state of dereliction. Located in Bexley, Kent, this elegant mansion has been ingeniously converted into 14 highly individual contemporary homes, including loft-style duplexes and triplexes and two self contained houses.

Located just 15 miles from London, Baldwyns is set in parkland less than two miles away from historic Old Bexley.  Bexley station, a mile away, has a regular service to London Bridge and Charing Cross, with peak journey times of 30 minutes, ideal for commuters.
